2 cars, 1 goal

Well Vegas drift announced it will be hosting one more event this year called best of vegas. on november 5th. so what greater time for us to do a shake down on our two cars. evers car has been down for close to two years, while doing a complete make over of basically every part, suspesion make over, chopping the front end off and tubing it, re routing all the fuse boxes to inside the cab, etc etc.and my car will hopefully be making its maiden voyage, keeping my fingers crossed. for those of you who dont know whats going on with my car click HERE… i recently got my car to the point that i could start it, but it decided to not start. after checking every fuse, connection, wiring,, my CAS, relays, and everything else. we have narrowed it down to hopefully being the ECU. so while waiting for a new ecu to come i got somthing else in the mail… my fans. yaaaay.

s blade dual flex a lite 2500 cfm. since im running an rb25 and there is NOOOO room to run pullers these will be set up as pushers. these were a very tight squeeze, but after trying multiple ways. we decided to notch the radiator support and make custom radiator brackets. after it was all done it almost looks stock.

They will be wired to a relay and then run to a switch in the cab. you should run a relay just to not run the risk of burning up the switch and potentially ruining any other electrical components.

Now on to  evers car.
well his car was all up and running and we were taking it to go get an alignment, that was all it needed then it could start going to u drift and participating in events. but disaster happened, we rented a u haul trailer.

while he was backing the car off the trailer his down pipe got hooked on the license plate holder frame part of the trailer. and ripped the whole exhaust off the car and kinked the elbow.

So he ended up ordering a whole new t25 turbo, just to get the car running. the plan was to go t28 but we just decided to get it running so he could just get the seat time he needs. we had to buy a new turbo since the elbow was welded to the turbo. its a long story, and we wont go into why its welded. but any way new turbo came today and we we trying to get the car up a running.

tomei manifold and new turbo all bolted together.

so we went to work getting it all swapped over.

It was going very smoothly BUT like everything on his car. SHIT LUCK happened. and his PSM cobra down pipe would not bolt up because the different placement that the tomei manifold puts the turbo at. sooooo he is going to order a new elbow and down pipe that will work in conjunction with the manifold. this is as far as we got tonight.

so to sum it all up we worked on both car today/night in hopes that we can be ready for the Vegas Drift BEST OF VEGAS. we hope to see you all out there.
