In the latest episode of Driven to Drift, we go behind the scenes with Ken Gushi, Fredric Aasbo and Tony Angelo to get a closer look on the specifics of how Formula Drift competitions are judged. Tony Angelo, a former FD judge lends particular insight into sometimes objective and sometimes subjective factors they’re scored on, and how it’s these factors that set drifting apart from nearly all other forms of motorsports.
At Road Atlanta, the judges were on our side. Fredric advanced all the way through, besting some of the top drivers including Rhys Millen and Daigo Saito, and landing in the #2 spot on the podium. Congrats to the Need For Speed team on all their hard work.
